Rocks have been flying through the windows of Democratic offices across the US, and one Alabama-based blogger is taking credit for what he calls the “window war” against the big-government supporters of health reform. “I guess that guy’s one of ours,” Mike Vanderboegh told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle about one incident in upstate New York over the weekend. “Glad to know people read my blog.”

Other targets were the offices of Reps. Louise Slaughter (NY), Gabrielle Giffords (Ariz.) and Steve Driehaus (Ohio). Sipsey Street Irregulars, the blog written by Vanderboegh, 57, hails the “Three Percenter” doctrine, Talking Points Memo notes, wherein, “during the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King’s tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists.” The March 19 post calling for the window-smashing reads, in part: “They will send the Internal Revenue Service and other federal police to do this in thousands of small Wacos, if that is what it takes to force us to submit.”
