(AP Photo/Lions Gate Entertainment, Justin Lubin) The LA County coroner’s office has subpoenaed the records of the whopping 20 doctors Corey Haim obtained prescriptions from in the year before his death. “We get medical records all the time,” the deputy coroner tells the Los Angeles Times . “What’s kind of unusual is how many doctors are involved.” State investigators say Haim obtained “massive amounts” of legal drugs by consulting multiple physicians, and recently resorted to a fake prescription to obtain a narcotic. Authorities suspect the actor had a drug problem. “How many people go to 10 or 15 or 20 doctors and then run around to 10, 12 and more pharmacies to go fulfill them and sometimes two different doctors in the same day?” asked California AG Jerry Brown.
