Health reform resulted in "the longest wet kiss in political history given to the Obama administration by the liberal media elite," Haley Barbour told This Week, "and every day that goes by, it gets sloppier." "I don't know what channels Haley watches, but that's a lousy wet kiss because it's getting pounded in the media," Pa. Gov. Ed Rendell responded. While on a roll, Barbour compared health reform to forcing every American to buy guns, and championed state lawsuits against the measure.

  • Sure, Obama had a great week politically, but Lindsey Graham isn't happy. The White House has 'done almost nothing" on immigration reform, and the South Carolinian would like the president to "do some heavy lifting here."
  • Obama's recess appointments threw "fuel on the fire when the debate is very angry to begin with," Lamar Alexander told State of the Union.
  • The White House didn't snub Benjamin Natanyahu this week, says David Axelrod. "This was not a ceremonial meeting. This was a working meeting among friends."
