Surprise, surprise: Michelle Obama's first solo visit to a foreign country turned out to be to Haiti instead of Mexico. The first lady—and Jill Biden—made an unannounced stop there today to support earthquake relief efforts. "The devastation is definitely powerful," she said after a helicopter tour. She's expected to head to Mexico City later today for her long-scheduled 3-day visit. The White House kept the Haiti visit under wraps because of security concerns, reports the Chicago Tribune.
