Sandra Bullock isn’t the only one who talked to People: The magazine released Jesse James’ full statement, in which he expresses remorse and talks about the “huge hole” in his heart. “The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest” of his life, he says. “Sandy is the love of my life, but considering the pain and devastation I have caused her, it would be selfish to not let her go.”
He goes on to express how much he misses the son Bullock is now adopting on her own, and alludes to his cheating as “this addiction that has taken two of the things I love the most in life.” He ends by asking people not to judge Bullock—and, in an inside look at the print article, TMZ notes that she claims to have had no knowledge of James’ Nazi obsession before seeing the infamous photo.
