Another Kennedy is making alcohol-related headlines: This time it’s Mary Kennedy, wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was arrested for drunk driving Saturday. Kennedy, 50, jumped a curb outside a New York school where, she told police, she was picking up “some people” from a carnival. She failed sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol level of 0.11%, above the legal limit of 0.08%, reports the Journal News.
The arrest comes days after two domestic disputes at the Kennedy home: On Thursday officers responded to a 911 call and filed a domestic incident report; three days prior, police got a call about a dispute between the Kennedy children. No arrests were made, but apparently this is nothing new: An officer says, “We've been to that property in the past, and I'll just leave it at that.”
