(AP Photo/Ed Reinke) Rand Paul's team has found one sure way to make sure he avoids any more trouble in nationally televised interviews: avoid them entirely. Rand has backed out of an interview on tomorrow's Meet the Press, reports the Washington Post's Right Now blog. The move comes after his Rachel Maddow interview set off a civil rights firestorm and a Good Morning America appearance in which he called criticism of BP "un-American." Explains his campaign manager: "Rand did Good Morning America today, set the record straight, and now we are done talking about it. No more national interviews on the topic."
