Alvin Greene Gives Stuttering YouTube Interview

Says campaign registration fee was 'just money I had'

By now, you’ve probably heard of Alvin Greene, the Democrats’ weird and unlikely South Carolina Senate nominee. Well now you can hear him speak, in this supposed YouTube interview from a user calling himself “PubliuSC.” If it’s real, then Democrats have a real problem. Greene stutters his way through the interview, revealing that he has strong views on Korea, unions, and… not a lot else.

Does he support free trade? “I would have to just look into that more.” How about gun rights? “I mean, I think, you know the laws relating to that are… they are… I’m in favor of our constitution.” And how about that $10,400? Where did that come from? “I don’t have any, I think that I… um…I have someone beeping on the other line.” It’s pretty painful to listen to, but, to be fair, the audio's obviously been edited, so take it with a grain of salt.
