Matador Arrested for Fleeing Bull

It looks like a scene out of a comedy flick, but it’s real: A terrified matador throws himself over the perimeter wall in an attempt to escape a charging bull, then is coaxed back into the ring…only to flee again. It gets better: Christian Hernandez, 22, was actually arrested for the fiasco, the Guardian reports. The Mexican matador was released after paying a fine for breaching his contract.

"There are some things you must be aware of about yourself," he said in a TV interview, and then stated the obvious: "I didn't have the ability, I didn't have the balls, this is not my thing." Not surprisingly, he later announced his retirement from bullfighting.
