Our PhotoShopped world: A new Facebook app offered by Vaseline in India lets people whiten their skin in their photos to see how they'd look in a lighter shade. The company is pushing a line of skin whitening creams for men and using Bollywood actor Shahid Kapur as pitchman, reports AFP. The trend is big business in India, explains a New Delhi sociology professor. "Indians believe that if you have fair skin you belong to the higher caste," he said. "More and more, there's an anxiety in the mind of men about having fair skin." (More Vaseline stories.)
