A Brooklyn emergency medical technician who came under fire for refusing to help a dying pregnant woman while he was on a coffee break has been shot to death in the face. Jason Green, 32, was shot near a nightclub early yesterday. Police haven't yet determined a motive or located a suspect, but the attack occurred shortly after an argument between Green and an unknown person, reports MSNBC.

Green and his partner were suspended for 30 days last year after they failed to treat a pregnant woman who collapsed at a restaurant where the two were eating breakfast. The pair continued on their coffee break and told cafe workers to call 911. The woman and her baby later died. (More Jason Green stories.)
