Mom Strangles Autistic Kids

A Texas mom called a 911 operator to confess that she killed her two young autistic children because she wanted "normal" kids. "I don't want my kids to be like that," said Saiqa Akhter, 30, who has been charged with capital murder in the killing of her 2-year-old daughter, and son, 5. Akhter said she first tried to force the children to drink bathroom cleaner, then strangled them with a wire when they refused, reports CNN. "They are not doing anything. They are just blue. Their heart is not beating," she said. Akhter is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
