The woman whose call to Dr. Laura Schlessinger's radio show triggered a shower of n-bombs spoke out today, saying the experience left her "confused" and "hurt," Mediaite reports. "I didn’t want to turn this into a racial thing," Nita Hanson, who is black, told CNN. “I just wanted some advice on my relationship."

Hanson also rejected Dr. Laura's apology, which Schlessinger issued not to her but to the network in a statement. “I called for help and there’s nothing she can say to me at this point,” Hanson said. "She apologized because she got caught.” For Sarah Palin's take on the whole mess, click here.
