Oh, Snooks, you've really done it this time. A Jersey resident who charges she was thrown to the ground by four Jersey Shore bodyguards after a spat with the top-heavy reality star and her chums is suing the cast and MTV for racketeering. The woman, identified only as JP, claims that Viacom, MTV, and 495 Productions are actively engaged in a criminal enterprise because they are making money from advertising sales for a program promoting criminal behavior, reports the Record. The heated confrontation between cast members and JP and her friends at a bar was videotaped for a first season episode entitled "One Shot."
In one scene, JP's pal, Stephen Izzo, is knocked out cold by cast member Ronnie Ortiz. Izzo tried unsuccessfully in court to block the sale of the DVD set of the first season, but has filed suit as well for racketeering. JP gashed and permanently scarred her chin in the altercation with bodyguards, according to her suit. Three other Jersey residents and an Illinois woman also have suits pending against MTV for other alleged assaults by the cast captured on film.
