By way of really elaborate football metaphors

It is September, which means just one thing to Jon Stewart ... it's time for midterms, and really elaborate football metaphors. First up last night, analyzing Obama's "version of a rousing morale booster between recessions half-time speech." But would he play the part of the inspirational coach, or be a screamer? Stewart's take: "Oh, BEEP! No he didn't! He went $50 billion-infrastructure-Oprah-Angel-Network on their ass. You get a hydroelectric dam, you get a hydroelectric dam, you get some type of sewage treatment plant."

But then Stewart starts to recall past plays ... like, "didn't we do this already? Shouldn't we have like a 22nd-century infrastructure by this point where the bridges and tunnels just come and pick us up at our houses?" Watch the entire segment for more flashy midterms-football graphics, and Stewart's swing at Jan Brewer.
