(AP Photo/John Raoux) Terry Jones says he might reconsider his plan to burn Korans on 9/11—if he gets a call from President Obama. Jones says no one from the White House or Pentagon has contacted him, but that if anyone did "that would cause us to definitely think it over," he tells USA Today. “I don't think a call from them is something we would ignore.” Of course, President Obama, General Petraeus, and Hillary Clinton have all publicly called for Jones to cancel the burning, but that hasn’t convinced him. “When do we stop backing down?” he asks. “In certain areas of the country, we have lost our backbone.” Meanwhile another pastor in Tennessee has said he too will burn a Koran on 9/11, the New York Post reports. It’ll only be one, and he'll do it in his home, but he promises to post a video of it online. “I believe that other religions are a threat,” he says.
