The Antoine Walker Era in Miami is over; the Heat have traded the swaggering forward and spare parts in exchange for troubled but talented swingman Ricky Davis and willowy center Mark Blount. Walker's shooting from the bench helped Miami win the NBA title in 2006, but he clashed often with coach Pat Riley over his conditioning, or lack thereof.

Davis, at 28, averaged 17 points per game last year for the Timberwolves, but has compiled a history of volatile behavior in nine years with numerous teams. Nonetheless, with shooting guard and 2006 Finals MVP Dwyane Wade rehabbing from surgery until at least late November, the Heat will benefit from Davis's scoring acumen. (More NBA stories.)
