GOPers Say Palin Is Tough to Deal With

Politico today paints a lengthy, unflattering portrait of Sarah Palin's efforts to help fellow conservatives and Republicans on the campaign trail. "She offers little notice about her availability, refuses to do certain events, is obsessive about press coverage and sometimes backs out with as little lead time as she gave in the first place," says the set-up. At Mediaite, Glynnis MacNicol thinks the article is much ado about nothing. So Palin's disorganized—big deal. One of the points the piece makes is that if she runs for president, she'll need to address the problems. Fine, but a lack of organization is easy to fix. "There are many, many, many things wrong with the idea of Sarah Palin running for president," writes MacNicol, "but it’s hard to read a litany of complaints directed at her apparent inability to organize and not wonder if the same criticism would be lobbed at a male candidate."
