Stewart: Negative Campaigning Has Gone Too Far

When we go to the polls on Tuesday, we won't just be "selecting the candidate who may or may not best represent your political values." Based on the proliferation of negative campaign ads, we'll be "choosing between hard-line Marxist state tyranny and autocratic Taliban religious crazies," said Jon Stewart last night on the Daily Show, before going on to run clips from some of the worst offenders—including one that implies a House of Representatives candidate is actually "one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse." Make sure to watch until the end, when Larry Wilmore and Aasif Mandvi try to one-up each other in the negativity department.
