Sarah Palin is up with a post-election ad, dubbed by Andrew Sullivan as the "first ad of the 2012 campaign." The 70-second spot is a victory lap of sorts, with shots of Palin-endorsed winners such as Nikki Haley and Marco Rubio, along with a Reaganesque reference to it being "morning in America."

Palin is "essentially claiming credit for the GOP 'tidal' wave that just took the House and at the same time putting the establishment GOP on alert," writes Glynnis MacNicol at Mediaite. New York's Daily Intel blog thinks it looks like a Pepsi commercial but with "empty political rhetoric."
