The Calgary Flames scored twice on power play goals to defeat the Predators 5-1 last night. The loss leaves the struggling Predators winless on the road this season, where they've also scored just three goals, reports the Tennessean. Calgary goalie Miikka Kiprusoff, hot off a new multi-million-dollar deal, stopped 39 shots on the way to the victory.

Predators goalie Chris Mason stopped 28 of 33 shots, but still lost his seventh in a row."It's pretty frustrating," said Predators captain Jason Arnott. "But there are no excuses in this game. We have to start burying the puck or we are not going to win." (More NHL stories.)
