A suicide bomber killed at least 38 people near a mosque in Iran as Shiite Muslims took part in one of their holiest ceremonies. Iranian authorities say two other bombers were arrested after their explosive belts apparently failed to detonate, reports the New York Times. There was no immediate claim of responsibility, although the southeastern province where the bombing occurred has been the target of previous terrorist attacks from Sunni militants.
