After all the talk, the House will finally vote later today on whether to repeal health care. It's no great mystery how things will shake out, of course: It's going to pass in the House, fail in the Senate, "then die the death of the symbolic bill that it is," write Chris Cillizza and Aaron Blake at the Fix blog. They manage to find some suspense, however, by pointing out a handful of votes on both sides of the aisle to watch:
- Republicans Sean Duffy and Richard Hanna: Both are freshmen in tough districts who have pointed out good aspects of the bill. Still, "a vote against repeal would be the equivalent of begging for a Tea Party primary challenger. A 'no' vote from either would be a true shocker."
- Democrat Mike McIntyre: The North Carolina congressman voted against the bill and has supported repeal. "He will be a top GOP target in 2012. If he votes against repeal, it would be a big surprise—and a big win for Democrats."
