The City of Brotherly Love is no place to try to eat another man's cake. Police in Philadelphia say two friends were sitting in a parked car in the wee hours of Monday morning when the passenger began eating some cake that belonged to the driver. The sweets swipe sparked an argument—and the driver shot his friend in the chest. The 31-year-old man is in the hospital in critical condition; police are still looking for the driver, who fled the scene, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Investigators deny earlier reports that french fries were the cause of the argument.
