Rand Paul followed dad Ron into politics, and now Ron might follow Rand into the Senate. Or at least try. "It's certainly crossed my mind," said the libertarian congressman when asked about a Senate run in Texas, reports the Hill. The renewed interest stems from a Public Policy Polling survey that puts Paul near the top of the pack among Republicans to replace the retiring Kay Bailey Hutchison. He's considered such runs before, but this time he'd get to join son Rand, newly elected in Kentucky, in the chamber. (More Ron Paul stories.)
