The Republicans' bid to repeal Obamacare might have failed in the Senate, but the GOP's John Thune thinks Democrats are going to have to face reality about this "awful" bill eventually. Most Americans don't like it, he says—finding a poll to back him up, as folks on both sides of the argument can do—along with the courts (at least some), and the House, writes Thune at Real Clear Politics.

"So far the Administration and their allies in the Senate have been trying to ignore the rising chorus of dissent," writes the South Dakota senator. "They can't get away with that much longer." He promised that Republicans "will keep pressing" in the Senate, where the Democratic leadership, "with their fingers firmly planted in their ears, seems intent upon ignoring any indication that they have made a grave mistake."
