Lady Gaga stirred up a bit of controversy when she used "the R-word" in a recent interview—but she tells Perez Hilton that "an honest mistake, requires honesty to make." Furthermore, she insists the gaffe was "furiously unintentional" and apologizes for "not speaking thoughtfully." "Whether life's disabilities, left you outcast bullied or teased, rejoice and love yourself today," she concludes.

Meanwhile, Gaga had also managed to irk a few more people by refusing to let "Weird Al" Yankovic release his parody of her hit, "Born This Way." But on his blog, Al reveals that it was all a misunderstanding: Gaga's manager rejected the parody, but Gaga herself never actually heard it. Now that she has, it will be released on his forthcoming album and all proceeds donated to the Human Rights Campaign. Listen at left. (More Lady Gaga stories.)
