Donald Trump may end up in the Republican Party's 2012 primary, but he has not voted in any primaries for 21 years, reports the AP. According to the New York City Board of Elections, Trump last cast a primary ballot in 1989 in the New York City mayoral race, when Rudy Giuliani won the Republican nomination. Even so, Trump's lawyer insists, "for one of the greatest international businessmen who travels all over the country and the world, his voting record is very, very good."
Trump also missed voting in the 2002 general election, according to a local TV report on Friday, an accusation Trump strenuously denied. "You're going to pay a big price because you're wrong," he told TV station NY1. "I have records that I voted and so does the Board of Elections." (More Donald Trump stories.)
