Jon Stewart on Palin: Duh! She's Running

If you believe Sarah Palin's One Nation bus tour is something other than a prelude to a White House run, Jon Stewart has a bridge in Brooklyn he'd like to sell you. The Daily Show host, returning from hiatus, mocks the media's response to the Palin tour. Perhaps the real reason the Palin family is driving a bus from town to town in key primary states is because they're "solving crimes and unmasking monsters," he guffawed.

The funnyman had plenty of ammunition to spare for Palin and her bosses at Fox News. Palin's only bus interview has been with Fox's Greta Van Susteren, who later explained that the Alaskan's Fox contract doesn't allow her to talk to other networks, Stewart noted. Her answer on why she's not talking to the media, he said, should have been: "One, because I'm an unconventional maverick who doesn't play by the rules, and two, (Fox boss) Roger Ailes will not let me."
