Add this to the Top 10 list of reasons not to make fun of al-Qaeda: A jihadist is calling for the assassination of David Letterman after he joked about the death of terrorist Ilyas Kashmiri on his show. The radical made his comments on the Shumukh al-Islam web forum, and wants others to "cut the tongue of the lowly jew," apparently unaware that Letterman is Presbyterian, reports the New York Daily News.

"I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears, one of the lowlifes of the Jews, and one of their pigs, mocking one of the leaders of the mujahedeen," he wrote. The Late Show is on summer hiatus, and a spokesman declined comment. A former agent with the FBI-NYPD joint terrorism task force says these types of threats shouldn't be taken lightly. "If I am the guy targeted in one of those things, I would be taking it seriously and hunker down." (The South Park guys know the feeling.)
