Newser wasn't the only media outlet making elementary-school-level puns at Gerard Depardieu's expense after his peeing-on-a-plane incident came to light yesterday: Anderson Cooper went on what had to be a record-setting roll last night that must be seen to be believed. But one line proved to be too much for him: "They should thank their lucky stars it wasn't Depar-two," he said, and then dissolved into a fit of giggles that lasted almost a full minute.
Meanwhile, "Depar-two" himself apologized ... sort of. His friends insist he was "completely sober" during the incident but had an "irrepressible need" to go, so he attempted to relieve himself in a bottle "as discreetly as possible." Unfortunately, the Telegraph reports, some urine spilled on the ground, but Depardieu's pals say he offered to clean it up himself and is "sorry" for the inconvenience.
