Henrik Lundqvist stopped 22 of 24 shots: the Isles' Miroslav Satan tied the game at one during a frenzied scrum in front of the goal, and Mike Comrie added one late in the second period. The Islanders had won the season's previous three matchups, and held an 8-3-1 record over their crosstown rivals dating back to April of 2006. It was only their second loss to an Eastern Conference playoff team, compared with 11 wins; the only conference opponent they haven't beaten so far is Atlanta.
