Tragic news out of Tinseltown: Kat Von D and Jesse James have split again. In a note posted Saturday on her Facebook page, Von D cleared up some rumors, writing, “I am not in a relationship.” The tattoo artist and star of the now-canceled reality show LA Ink first entered into a storybook romance with Sandra Bullock’s ex last summer, only to break off their engagement in July. Then, last month, romantics everywhere took heart when James and Von D announced they were back together.
“I apologize for all the ‘back and forth’ if it’s caused any confusion,” Von D’s note continues. She confirms to People, “It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life. My friend put it best when he said I could never be more deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that.” And the long-distance factor may have played a part: James lives in Texas, and Von D’s note also states, “I am not in any way moving to Texas.” (More Kat Von D stories.)
