Charlie Sheen was hit with a barrage of phone calls and text messages after accidentally tweeting his phone number last week, ultimately causing his phone to suffer a "meltdown," a witness tells the New York Post. "It was ringing wildly, and he got 1,800 text messages in minutes. Charlie saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like ‘Ray’s Pizza’ and ‘Winning.’"

Making the story far more humorous: Sheen tweeted the number in an effort to get Justin Bieber to call him; we'd pay good money to know what that was about. "310-954-7277 Call me bro. C," Sheen tweeted, in what was apparently supposed to be a private message. Though he quickly deleted the accidental tweet, it had already been retweeted. Not surprisingly, the actor's rep confirms Sheen just got a new phone number. (More Charlie Sheen stories.)
