Politics / Republican debate Things to Watch in Tonight's Debate Among them: Will we see Good Newt or Bad Newt? Politico and the New York Times offer some things to look for: Newt Gingrich: He seemed genuinely mad after Iowa, and he needs to score points. Will he go negative? Politico thinks the "Good Newt versus Bad Newt" issue will be "one of the most compelling subplots." Rick Santorum: He'll hit Mitt Romney, for sure, but expect him to go after President Obama quite a bit to prove he's a general-election kind of guy. Jon Huntsman: It's pretty much now or never for him in New Hampshire. He went after Romney yesterday over his tax returns, notes the Times, and more of the same is likely tonight. The question is whether it's too late. Fuller previews here and here. (More Republican debate stories.) See 1 more photo Report an error
