The Republican presidential candidates can all agree on one thing: There is no place for class warfare or class resentment in the GOP ... except with regard to Mitt Romney. Yes, when it comes to that rich jerk, the other candidates are, one might say, resentful of his vast wealth. "Oh, it's not fair. He's using unlimited money to buy influence, rigging the system in some way," said Jon Stewart last night while pointing out this apparent hypocrisy. "I can't imagine how frustrated and helpless you, Newt Gingrich, must feel."

Of course, Romney made all that money by embracing all the things Republicans love, like low taxes, "free markets, deregulation, unmitigated corporate money in politics," Stewart noted. "You're mad at Mitt Romney? For God's sake, it's like Mitt Romney answered the Republicans' eHarmony ad, and now you're saying it's not fair," said an incredulous Stewart. "Mitt Romney is the pure distillation of conservative economic policies, but now that you have to go up against him, now it's unfair?"
