Crime | Jerry Sandusky Sandusky Is Staring at Kids From Porch: Prosecutors They want a judge to order him kept inside his home By Kate Seamons Posted Feb 8, 2012 6:57 AM CST Copied In this Nov. 11, 2011 file photo shown is the home of former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, in State College, Pa. (AP Photo/Matt Rourke, File) Jerry Sandusky has reportedly been spending some quality time on his back porch—watching kids play at a neighboring school, according to complaints. Prosecutors yesterday filed a request that Sandusky's bail conditions be altered to prevent him from going outside his home for anything other than medical treatment. "Several individuals from the adjacent elementary school have expressed concerns for the safety of children at their school and the adjacent neighborhood," prosecutors wrote. A memo from a state investigator attached to the filing noted that a teacher and intern "had the children outside for recess as it was a warmer day, and that they both witnessed Mr. Sandusky on his rear house deck watching the children play." A neighbor told the AP that he has spotted Sandusky on his porch nearly daily, and at times when children are playing outside Lemont Elementary. Prosecutors yesterday also opposed his request to be allowed to see his grandchildren. Read These Next Iran goes after 'the eyes' of opponents' defense systems.
