A third person was arrested last night in the murder of Brittany Dawn Killgore, a Camp Pendleton Marine's wife. Dorothy Grace Marie Maraglino, 36, was arrested at a downtown San Diego hotel, but no word yet on her suspected role. Staff Sgt. Louis Perez, 45, and Jessica Lynn Lopez, 25, have been charged in the murder; all three suspects as well as Killgore lived in Fallbrook, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Killgore, who had filed for divorce from her deployed husband days before her disappearance, was planning to go on a dinner cruise with Perez, who also served at Camp Pendleton, and a girlfriend on April 13. Instead, she texted a friend for help, saying she was in "distress." Killgore was last seen with Perez, and her blood was found in his car with a weapon. Lopez, who lived with Perez, was later arrested after attempting suicide, and there have been rumors of a sex ring. (More US military stories.)
