Celebs are often accused of holding back on the personal nitty gritty in interviews, but Sheryl Crow nonchalantly dropped this into conversation with a columnist when joking about forgetting her lyrics: "I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor," she told Doug Elfman of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "And I was, like, 'See? I knew there was something wrong.'"
Turns out it's a common form of brain tumor known as a meningioma, reports E! Online, and Crow's is benign. "I don't have to worry about it," she says, "but it gives me a fit." It came up when she and Elfman were discussing a recent on-stage lyrical flub during the song "Soak Up the Sun." Crow later told the audience: "I'm 50, what can I say? My brain's gone to s---."
