Live in Rhode Island? Then you may be getting hotter by the second. Climate Central scientists calculated the average daily high and low temperatures for each state in the continental US in order to determine which ones may be more affected by climate change, and Rhode Island took top honors as the fastest warming state. Since 1912, those in the top 10 have heated up 60 times faster than those in the bottom 10, at 0.26 degrees per decade to .004, reports by LiveScience. Rounding out the top 10:

  1. Massachusetts
  2. New Jersey
  3. Arizona
  4. Maine
  5. Connecticut
  6. Michigan
  7. Utah
  8. Minnesota
  9. Colorado
