Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez just made a little history: He tossed a perfect game in his team's 1-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays, the first one in franchise history, reports the Seattle Times. It's only the 23rd in league history, but it happens to be No. 3 this year, the first time that's happened. Seattle fans should remember one of them pretty well: Philip Humber of the White Sox threw one against the Mariners in April.

"I don't have any words to explain this," said Hernandez in a TV interview. "I've got to throw one. I've been working so hard to throw one, and I got it. It was in my mind the whole game." He struck out 12 in front of the hometown fans, including all three batters in the ninth. For more on the feat, see Bleacher Report. (More Felix Hernandez stories.)
