Israeli authorities yesterday arrested three children, all just 12 to 13 years old, who are suspected of fire-bombing a Palestinian taxi on Aug. 16. A Palestinian family was inside, including two children, and the taxi burst into flames and then flipped. Six people were injured, two of them seriously, the BBC reports, noting that just hours after that incident, Israeli children were involved in another attack when a group of youths beat up and critically injured a Palestinian teen.

The three children arrested in the fire-bombing are from an Israeli settlement south of Jerusalem. They could be released today after being questioned. (More Israel stories.)
