Planned Parenthood, it seems, had an unlikely champion in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure controversy: Karl Rove. In a new book, former Komen VP Karen Handel, who stepped down amid the uproar, remembers a comment from CEO Nancy Brinker. "I’ve talked to a lot of people," Brinker reportedly said. "And even Karl says we have to backtrack" on cutting funds for the group. Brinker confirmed that she'd been talking about Karl Rove, according to Planned Bullyhood, which comes out today, the Daily Caller reports. (More Karl Rove stories.)
