Just a few weeks before killing his father with a bow and arrow and a knife, Christopher Krumm revealed that he blamed his dad for giving him Asperger's syndrome, and believed he should be "castrated" to prevent him from having more children, one of Krumm's Connecticut neighbors tells WTIC-TV. "He's like, 'So my dad gave me Asperger's, and my dad should have never had any kids. He should have never had me and passed it on to me, and the government shouldn't have let him have kids,'" the neighbor said. "It was just out of nowhere, but he seemed pretty livid about it."
Krumm's neighbors all seemed surprised about the attack. "It's so insane. … He was always nice to me," one said. A family friend who taught Krumm advanced calculus in college called him "one of the smartest students I ever had," although "his social skills were not wonderful." "I knew all three of them very well," he said. "I would not have expected this of Chris. It just does not fit into anything I know." (More Christopher Krumm stories.)
