Things got pretty heated on Piers Morgan Tonight as the host came face-to-face with the man who started a petition to deport him for supporting gun control. Morgan barely got a word in as conspiracy theorist talk show host Alex Jones attacked him as a "hatchet man of the new world order," and warned the British citizen that "1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms," Mediaite reports. Jones dismissed Morgan's argument that Britain has far fewer gun deaths than the US and accused Morgan of fleeing his homeland.

During his pro-gun rant, Jones, who said he "probably" owned around 50 guns, mocked Morgan's British accent and said drugs like Prozac were to blame for recent mass shootings. After the interview, Morgan described Jones as rambling and unhinged. "We lawyers refer to people like that not as witnesses, but as exhibits," said Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, Morgan's next guest. "He was an exhibit, like a piece of evidence. You see him speaking and you say to yourself, 'I don't want that man to have a gun.'" (More Piers Morgan stories.)
