House Dem Leaders: Vote 'No' on GOP Debt Plan

The word of the day in the House is not "bipartisanship." Sources tell Politico that Democratic leaders will urge their fellow lawmakers in a caucus meeting this morning to vote against the GOP's proposal to suspend the debt ceiling until May 19. Their intention: force Republicans to secure the 218 votes necessary on their own. But don't expect nothing but "no" from the Dems: Politico adds that those same leaders anticipate that "dozens" will vote in favor of the plan as soon as the bill garners enough votes to pass.
