Six men have been arrested in the gang rape of a Swiss tourist in India, CNN reports; five "have confessed to gang-raping the woman and attacking her husband," says a police spokesman, per Sky News. The couple were touring the country by bicycle when spotted by the attackers, police say. "They were passing by, noticed the couple putting up their tent, and saw an opportunity to attack and rape the woman," says the spokesman. Police have recovered valuables belonging to the couple, CNN notes. Charges are pending, and the Swiss embassy is calling for a "swift investigation and for justice to be done" in the attack, the latest high-profile instance of sexual violence in India.
