By keeping down the pace, the Clippers managed to lull the Suns into a 97-90 loss last night, dropping Phoenix to a half-game behind the Lakers in the Pacific division. The Suns got only four fast-break points against a team that had lost 10 of their last 11, the Arizona Republic reports. On other regulation floorboards:

  • Minnesota put together a 22-8 run in an attempt to climb back even with Golden State, but between Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson there was too much for the T'Wolves to overcome in the 105-98 loss.
  • Philadelphia came back from 16 down to score 37 fourth-quarter points and pass the stunned Rockets for a 111-107 victory.
