The FDA is warning of a Botox threat to US customers: Clinics may have ended up with fake material instead of the authentic stuff from Allergan Inc. Officials have found counterfeit Botox in the country, though thus far, there haven't been reports of patients being injected with it. According to the FDA, the Botox box has been counterfeited and the vial marked as a foreign version of the product. It's apparently being marketed via "blast faxes" to doctor's offices from a company going by names like "Online Botox Pharmacy" and "Onlinebotox.com," the Wall Street Journal reports.
