Prison life seems to be going OK for Chelsea Manning. The lawyer who defended the Army private previously known as Bradley Manning relays this quote via the AP: "Manning has said, 'I feel very comfortable. I've made friends. I don't feel at all threatened.'" Attorney David Coombs also said during a speech at Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island that he thinks the Army is sincerely assessing Manning's request for hormone-replacement therapy at Fort Leavenworth. "I think the facility is doing all the right things at this point." Manning got a 35-year sentence for leaking military secrets to WikiLeaks, but the AP notes that she could be out in as few as seven years. (Read more Chelsea Manning stories.)
